2011 HSN ProvoCraft Banner contest entry

I used PaperDoll Dress Up for the dolls and the banner itself is made from Witch Hats upside down.

The pumpkins and the drippy vampire font are from Happy Hauntings.

National Card Making Day

I chose a muted color scheme and used the cuts from French Manor to create this Thank You Card.

Blogiversary Recipe Challenge

For this challenge we were given parameters to use 3 buttons, a title, 2 Cricut Cuts. I chose the month of October that is orange, black and PINK. I will add pictures from Walk for the Cure. The cuts are from Creative Calendar and Happy Hauntings. I wanted it for the Title October and was pleasantly surprised to find a ribbon on there.

Happy Smurfday Makayla

We are going to a Smurfette party today for Makaylas' 8th Birthday. I used Paperdoll DressUp to make my version of Smurfette. A blue paperdoll, white dress, heels and elf cap does the trick.

Interactive Layout Challenge

Our grandson is learning to tie his shoes. I wanted this to be part of my interactive page. I cut the tennis shoe from Pink Journey, the background and letter frames from Elegant Edges and the letters from Lyrical Letters. The eyelets are oversized normally used for tarps, the wide shoe lace easier for little fingers was from a dollar store.

Echo Park Magazine Challenge

Hello. This Challenge was to use Echo Park products. I chose papers from the Splash collection. The headstone is cut from Happy Hauntings, the pencil is a favorite from Locker Talk, the Monster, witch hat and Wicked Wishes is from Mini Monsters and the font is a favorite for getting the 1/2 inch letters nice and clean...Lyrical Letters. I saw the phrase Tomb it may Concern: and fell in love!!!! Hope you get a laugh and a great idea!

My Entry for HSN Cricut Banner Contest

I used Paperdoll Dress Up for the little dolls and the actual banner which is the witch hat cut at real dial size 4". The drippy letters are Vampire Font and the pumpkins from Happy Hauntings. I attached the banner with little button brads and added a line of sequin trim for stability. I cut each witch hat twice so that the back is finished too and you don't see little naked paperdoll booty from the back.

~Enjoy and watch to see if my banner is shown on HSN Monday Sept 26th.

Circle Challenge - include a window

For this challenge, I used Pagoda. We had been watching Shogun and the Asian influence was on my mind. I used vellum for my window pane because it reminded me of soji screens out of rice paper. I love the little doll peeking through the window. The cherry blossom tree, the lanterns and the fan tied everything together. I am going to use it in my album about me. I loved reading Memoirs of a Geisha and AmyTan cannot write enough books.I love her work. I think I appreciate the Asian influence in family, tradition, and a calm peaceful outlook.

Enjoy
