Spring has Sprung

Here is a little card that had many steps. I dyed the Clear Skittles, White Seam Binding, White Prima Flower and White Rick Rack with Ranger Alcohol Inks. The hinges are cut from Fabulous Finds. The burlap "grass" and Floral Wire adds dimension and pizzaz. Hope you like it.

The background paper that didn't really photograph well is Sparkle Celebration Bubbles in Cinnamon Stick by Cloud9Design.

Shier Terror

Here are some t-shirts I made for my nieces Lacey and Melody. My maiden name is Shier and my brother is a Halloween fanatic. Just got back from the West Coast Haunters Convention. The font is from Cricut CartridgeHappy Hauntings I thought it looked like drippy goo and matches the sign he made for his Haunted Maze. I cut it out of freezer paper and painted it with black fabric paint that stays soft. I added glow in the dark glitter to the paint. Enjoy.

Challenge Entry

For this challenge I used the Stamping Cartridge for the title and the butterfly. The large prima flowers were a find in a clearance rack. All the papers are Heidi Grace The embellishments are hand dyed seam binding, 2 large olive buttons and red and white bakers twine. I think it is a very springy LO.

Craftiest Mom Contest

If you like what you see, I would appreciate yours and your friends and families votes! I love to sew and paper crafting is 2nd to that. This is a costume that I made for my niece Candice. I had gotten her a paperdoll book and she asked if I could make her the costume that the doll was wearing. I think she wore it every day until she outgrew it! To vote...make a comment at:

Happy Cinco de Mayo - Cheers

Here is my version of Greenbeans' Spa Sock Margarita. Could not find lime soaps so I used plastic limes. A little treat for my staff.  Hubby and I have a bet to see if any of them try to eat the Bath Salt!

Cheers!
