I am slowly getting back to crafting after my vacation. Geesh...a slow start. So I made this card for a challenge that was to use the Imagine or if you didn't have an Imagine, use lots of printed paper. I guess I missed the deadline but still love the card. So when PK had a challenge to alter a frame, I decided to coordinate the frame and feature my card.
The Smiley Face is from Peachy Keen stamp set Wide Eyed Kid faces. The Rosette is the simple one from Cricut.com Ribbons & Rosettes. The ribbon trim outlining the frame is Stampin Up Pleated Satin in Pear and Red Riding Hood Red which is not really red at all!!!
Now the card...the papers are Lasting Impressions Dizzy Dots in Melon and the floral print is K & Co. The little sentiment is stamped on MCT Stitched and Scallopped Circles with My Creative Time All Around Sentiments and All Around Sentiment Accessories. The butterfly embellishments are by Flora Doodles.
I love the ribbon on this project. and FYI riding hood red is one of my favorites. I know the ribbon is not really red (real red is the closest to red) but the ink is pretty like a deep red.. with a sort of vintage feel.
