Fly Away with Me

This weeks Color Inspiration Challenge got my creative juices flowing and I was able to incorporate lots of my supplies. The Flowers, balloon and banner are dies from MyCreativeTime Flower Petal Dies, and Fly Away With Me stamps and dies.

The Balloon is stamped with a smiley face from Peachy Keen Stamps Wide Eyed Kids. I added the trim on the balloon to create a little (okay big) mustache! The little couple is cut at 1 inch. YEP...ONE INCH. From  Cricut Cartridge Paper Doll Dress Up. They even have shoes.

The tiny flower buttons are from my stash and are at Joannes Great Finds BIG BAG OF BUTTONS.

Ok, so I used 2 different cartridges for this challenge. The little boy in the wagon is from A CHILDS YEAR and 4th of July is from STAND AND SALUTE. There are stars in the vellum background, 2 on the little flag and 2 more on the wagon. For the stripes I pop dotted a piece of striped ribbon making it look like it flowers in the breeze behind the little boy.

Big Hugs just for you

BMHS Summer Pocket Card

It is summer vacation for the teachers and faculty in my life as well. Our local scrapbook store carries paper with the school name, colors and mascots. I treated myself to some.
The little pocket and sunglasses are from MyCreativeTime Whats Growing On and Fun Pockets. Look closely at the little pocket and see the adorable little face from PeachyKeenStamps Just Baby Faces Asst Package and stamped in sand. The yellow grosgrain ribbon is from my stash as well as the little feather in the pocket. I pop dotted the pocket for dimension and did some pen stitching in the pre-marked lines on the die cuts.

Summer Vacation Pack

So many graduations but not for every student! So I made up some of these simple vacation packs for Summer Vacation. Each little bag is personalized for the recipient and includes bubbles, flip flops, disposable camera, travel size sunscreen and little plastic sunglasses.  This one is for one of our nephews.

Paper is from Stampin' Up and CTMH.

The Sun and Phrase Summer Vacation are from Cricut cartridge Designer Calendar. The Scuba Boy is from Cricut cartridge Pack your Bags.

I used vellum to make the mask look more realistic.

Enjoy!

Here is what I am submitting. The papers are from CTMH Dotty For You. I used 6 different papers!

For the fiber, I used Trendy Twine in licorice and white.

This page will be included in my book about me. I spend every Wednesday with our grandson and have since he was 6 weeks old. We enjoy lots of playdates. He starts Kindergarten this fall so each week is even more precious to me.

Altered Frame for Pretty Card

I am slowly getting back to crafting after my vacation. Geesh...a slow start. So I made this card for a challenge that was to use the Imagine or if you didn't have an Imagine, use lots of printed paper. I guess I missed the deadline but still love the card. So when PK had a challenge to alter a frame, I decided to coordinate the frame and feature my card.

The Smiley Face is from Peachy Keen stamp set Wide Eyed Kid faces. The Rosette is the simple one from Cricut.com Ribbons & Rosettes. The ribbon trim outlining the frame is Stampin Up Pleated Satin in Pear and Red Riding Hood Red which is not really red at all!!!

Now the card...the papers are Lasting Impressions Dizzy Dots in Melon and the floral print is K & Co. The little sentiment is stamped on MCT Stitched and Scallopped Circles with My Creative Time All Around Sentiments and All Around Sentiment Accessories. The butterfly embellishments are by Flora Doodles.

Welcome new Baby

A patterned Monkey card. Using MyCreativeTime stamps and die cuts. All Around Everything, All Around Everything Accessories, Stitched Circle and Scallopped Circle. Printed papers are Reminisce Monkey Business and a lime polka dot from my stash. The Crochetted trim was tea stained and is also from my stash. THe cute little monkey die cut is from Cricut.com Create a Critter.

This will happily welcome the baby in a couple months for the baby shower that was yesterday.

Monkey Diaper Trike and Card

Whew...I am back from vacation and ready to get my crafting on again. Here is a Monkey Diaper Trike with coordinating card for one of our Godchildrens' baby shower.

For the card, I used Cricut Cartridges Wild Card, Create a Critter and Baby Steps. I changed out the baby in the buggy to the cute little monkey. I am so happy that "Skittles" are becoming popular again. I have tons of these little acrylic gems in many colors and sizes. I remember when we went crazy over these 6 years ago. I used some bright blue ones in the wheels of the buggy.

The ribbon and paper are from my stash.
