My mom had quite a day on Tuesday. She had scheduled out-patient surgery on her eye. Before they could leave for that appt., her husband had a problem with his leg that required him to get to Urgent Care. They are both fine now but I wanted to make them a Get Well Card. I thought What a Pair with Pears was perfect. The pears were cut using
Cricut Cartridge Preserves. The bandaged leg is actually the Mummy from Cricut Cartridge Paperdoll Dress Up. The sentiment Feel Better Soon is from my stash of stamps and the cutie faces are from
Peachy Keen Stamps Cherub Face Asst.
Oh Linda this is adorable. I happy to hear they are both ok.

Too Cute Linda! I love it!
ReplyDeleteHow cute is this, Linda!!? I love that you personalized it by adding the bandaged foot for your Dad and the wink of the eye for your Mom. Personalizing is SUCH the beauty of making our own cards, don't you think? I'm glad to hear everyone's okay ... I'm sure your parents will enjoy their card!

ReplyDeleteThat card was so very special. Thank you so much. All the suttle touches were noted by us. We see something everytime we look at the card. The veins you drew on Jack's foot. We saw alot of thought went into the making of the card.
ReplyDeleteVeins!!! That was accent on the bandage! Glad you liked it though.
DeleteSuper cute card!! I LOVE the face of the fruit!!
